Frequently Asked Questions Regarding the Use of the AHAA Website

 

How do I log on to the AHAA website?

Go to the blue bar on the left and enter your username or email and your password. Then click on login.

How do I change the password that AHAA sent me?

After you log on to the website with your automatically-generated password, go to Home and click on Edit Profile. Then, at the top of the page, highlight edit and another heading with update your profile will appear on the screen just below Edit. Click on update your profile and another window with all of your membership information will appear. If you look on the fifth line of your profile (below Username), you will see Password followed by Verify Password. You should enter your new password in the Password box and then verify it in the Verify Password box. Then, go to the bottom of the page and click update, and your new password should be activated.

I lost my password. How do I retrieve it?

If you forget your password, go to the home page, and on the left side blue bar, click on forgot login? and follow the directions on the page that opens to the right. Your password will automatically be emailed to the email address listed in your AHAA website profile.

How do I renew my membership?

Go to the Membership tab and click on Join AHAA, which will open a page with a downloadable Membership Form. For further membership inquiries, contact Melissa Renn, AHAA Membership Coordinator. PLEASE NOTE: allow 3 weeks for processing.

How do I access the membership directory?

First, you must be logged onto the website. Go to Membership, click on Directory and follow the instructions on the page that opens. The Directory is searchable by First and Last Name, State, Institution, and Areas of Interest (period, medium, specialities, and geographic region).

How do I post an Announcement, Job Opportunity, Fellowship or Grant, Member News, CFP, or Publication?

First, you must be logged onto the website. Go to Home, click on the tab and select the category/item you would like to add. A new page will open, on which you can enter the data in the required fields, and click save. PLEASE NOTE: Your listing will not appear on the website until the administrator accepts it and publishes it. Please allow at least 1 week for processing.
